Apparently it's a new drug and they are all over it in San Fran.

When I was growing up I was told that cocaine would cause your heart to explode. Then it was all about heroine and how it was an instant overdose. Next was fentanyl and how it was 20x more potent than heroine. Now it's this new drug that's 20x more potent than fentanyl. Do you instantly die if you look at this stuff or have people's tolerances gotten higher?

Also, looking back at my childhood I figured that I would have encountered quicksand by now and that at some point I would have needed to stop, drop, and roll. What do I know.

I stayed at the Westin Union Square in San Francisco not long ago for work. The guy at the front desk was telling me about what there is to do in the area. He very bluntly told me not to go south of Geary Street or west of Mason Street, unless I wanted to get robbed and assaulted by a crackhead

Ive stayed in that same hotel and that is sage advice from the clerk.

This guy doing the video is a brave soul but kind of stupid for putting his life at risk walking amongst the zombie horde there.

It is a drug that has been around since the 50's, and as of 12/25 the DEA had 900 confirmed reports since 2019. Not exactly what I would call an epidemic. The link in OP is just rage bait. Someone takes a picture of a junkie and says "Look! he overdosed on (insert scary drug)".

Here's a relative potency chart that AI produced for commonly abused street opioids. Carfentanil is used as a large animal tranquilizer and may be the Philly "tranq" mentioned by a previous poster IDK.

Hard to believe that there aren't more deaths from the abuse of these drugs. Accidental fentanyl OD's weren't all that uncommon with resident physicians who were trained on and administered it every day in the OR. Who knows what dose you're getting on any given day on the street.

Fentanyl does that too, the fentanyl fold. This similar but worse one probably does the same thing.
