The brits have repeatedly voted to end this and just keep getting ignored. The main reason for brexit was uncontrolled immigration. They elected boris and he increased immigration.

Courts have ruled that the rights of immigrants outweigh the rights natives there. They have systemic, like actual written policy, to systemically treat immigrants different than others in policing, hiring (did you know brit business are paid to hire immigrants but not for natives), benefits, housing and a myriad of other ways.

They are Scots-Irish. If you want to be exact, they are technically a combination of Norse Vikings, Scots, Anglos, and Irish.
