I think they mean like you came to the US escaping war. I know someone whose brother got into Stanford and their parents came to the US as refugees from a war-torn country. But then the daughter of a relative of mine got into Stanford in Health Biology and graduated a couple of years ago and is now is at an Ivy League Med School. I have no idea how these schools pick kids. Some seem so random.

Most CEO's were perfectly fine with Biden's tyrannical and unprecedented decree to mandate that all employees receive a completely experimental "vaccine" or get fired. And this was after a rough couple of years for many as it was. So many already struggling (plus inflation).

Had a classmate. I graduated school in '96, so this is decades ago. He talked about how much harder school was because at Stanford (where he transferred from) the classes were so easy.

Self-admistered, some with no grades, la-la-la-la. You get the picture. Now he said getting in was a bear, but once in, you were good as long as you could fog a mirror.

Its the same in the Ivy leagues. They've always the policy of a "gentleman's C" as they call it. Basically, If you were smart enough to get in, you deserve at least a passing grade in their minds.

These were the graduates that the US State Department was hiring before Rubio took over and they will again as soon as the heat is off. They will find jobs with NGOs and think tanks and blue states until the swamp is back in charge.

Anyone care to guess what percentage of Stanford undergraduates identify as disabled so they get special classroom and grading treatment?

I graduated in '89 and if students walked out to defend Russia, they would have been ridiculed non-stop.

Fortunately A&M was very conservative and pro-American and anyone thinking of doing that knew better.
