We're used to seeing a lot of this with Democrats with this guy is literally leading his state into hell actively pursuing avenues to continue voter, cheating and prevent people from looking into it and then has the audacity to be upset because they're looking into his finances?

This chatter about his cash flow has been ongoing for a while now. The Newsoms, as well as the people's republic of California seem to have a real spending problem:

But we were told on this site that he would be a lock to win the presidency because he is good looking, and women only vote for good looking men.

Does this mean that women are not smart enough to vote based upon qualifications and experience?

Does it mean that Joe Biden is considered exceptionally good looking by women because he "won" the election with a record number of votes.

Does that mean that women consider old, senile, corrupt men to be good looking?

I feel bad for young single men. They don't have a chance for getting dates when we have so many old senile corrupt men roaming the streets.

I actually think Newsom is not anywhere near as smart as the Dems are hoping.

Not that intelligence matters to them. I believe the last Potus nomnee/office holder on their side to even hold an above average IQ was likely Clinton, and I wouldn't put him in a top tier. They vote for personas and image.

What is Newsome hiding behind related to not releasing his communications?

Executive privilege? Something that should be in place for the governor of California but not POTUS?

Newsom doesn't even do that, but asks the DOJ to do so.

And, the California Constitution was amended in 2004 by the voters (Proposition 59) to add the "Sunshine" amendment, which adds this right to know as a foundational principle:

This isn't the first time Newsom's office has refused to provide records to the press. In fact, it would be news if Newsom's administration actually complied with a CPRA request. Usually, though, he just claims that the information requested could jeopardize his or his family's safety; for example, his office refused to produce records related to how much state funding went to pay for his security detail when he visited Montana when the state was on California's no-go list for state-funded travel because its policies were insufficiently woke. Then, when he knew he couldn't weasel out of the issue, he claimed that there was a public safety exemption to the no-go law.
