These people seem confused about why stores do this. Do you think it's just for fun? All that stuff costs $ to put up. The choice is cage hours or no store.

And no one but your our Community are to blame for why it happens.

Well it's not fair. You are supposed to be able take your cart down any aisle you want, load up, and go straight to your car. As long as it is below a certain amount it's ok. Now they are going to have make a special trip during daytime hours.

Yep you choose:

no store at all or cages to prevent theft by your fellow citizens.

Or she could start her own store with no cages.

and i thought it was bad that black people were incapable of getting an ID, as our liberal friends constantly remind us.

its worse than we thought, they are incapable of buying groceries while the sun is out.

its obvious why they chose the hours that they did. most of the theft occurred at night when the staffing is lower and the store is being restocked.
i'm sorry i dont laugh at the right times.

https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/cascade-road-kroger-store-manager-attacked-south-fulton-police

couldnt have anything to do with this though...just racism:

Quote:

SOUTH FULTION, Ga. - South Fulton Police are searching for the person who attacked a store manager at the Cascade Road Kroger earlier this month. It's the latest in a string of dozens of incidents near the store and residents who shop there say they want to see the issue of crime bagged up.

"Crime is just rampant…it's rampant," shopper Zan McBride-Spence told FOX 5. "You have to be mindful…I always feel like I'm looking over my shoulder."

That's how she and others described the area around the store surrounding the store police and EMS have been called to 67 times so far this year.

The most recent call was an early morning assault involving the store's manager on May 8. South Fulton Police say he was punched in the face by a man he suspected of shoplifting and asked to leave hours earlier.

"Oh, man I hate that, I mean, 'cause I try not to be up here at nighttime, 'cause I mean, this whole area is not that great, you know," shopper Jodi Edmondson said.

Police tell FOX 5 a similar incident happened at another Kroger location on Edgewood Avenue. They are still looking for the suspect.

More than a dozen calls made to police from the Cascade Road location were related to break-ins, fights or customer disputes, thefts and assaults.

"These people…it's just…the world is just crazy right now," Edmondson said.

A manager was punched in the face by a suspected shoplifter that he asked to leave hours earlier, who came back later and attempted to do it again.

Police have been called out 67 times this year. Let's assume 1 per day, that would be 40% of the days that this Kroger location was open this year, police have been called to the location.
i'm sorry i dont laugh at the right times.

You don't want cage hours - quit acting like animals.

Kroger has every right to do whatever they deem necessary to protect their inventory.

Lol, I was in a Kroger in Atlanta a few weeks ago and almost every pack of beer in the beer fridge had been torn open and a beer or two removed. I couldn't find an unopened 6pk, so I had to piece one together.

That town has good chicken wings and a world class aquarium, but is otherwise a **** hole.

Solution...

Remove the cages around the diapers. You steal the diapers, hold your infant as a front seat lap child, have your sister drive aggressively towards the responding cop, cop shots at vehicle killing your 1yr old.

Bingo! You don't need to steal diapers anymore!

I can remember when half the Kroger stores everywhere in Texas were roped off because under blue laws, you couldnt buy stuff behind the ropes on Sundays. I should have whined.
also as early as the 70s at self serve gas stations in Houston, you had to pay the guy first through some bullet proof window..

I lived in Midtown ATL in a really nice building. 2 Br, 2Ba Corner penthouse, over $3k a month rent. It was fun but the crime was a constant issue. I was going for a run on the Beltline and was running through Piedmont Park going back to my place. Had to run for my life being chased by several of the "underprivileged."

Someone dropped their bag of weed just outside the building. Drugs and smell of weed everywhere.

Obvious prostitute on the elevator on a Sunday morning - I guess "going off shift."

After hanging at a local bar with some of the other residents, went back for an afterparty at this guy's apartment, the guy takes a mirror of the top of his fridge with lines of coke on it. Had to peace out on that and stayed away from those people after that. Guy had his drug dealer at the party named "Blue."

Crazy definitely autistic weirdo next door in an efficiency apartment who called me at 11 am on Sunday because he was getting the shakes and needed some liquor because the liquor stores didn't open until noon. One Saturday night he showed up at my place with two black prostitutes, then f'ing left. I had to kick them out. He couldn't believe I got mad about that - he thought he was doing me a "favor."

Car broken into, even though we were behind cages in the parking garage in the building.

First week I was there two gangs had a gun battle a block away - police found AKs and over 60 rounds. I didn't even hear it. Girl I knew had a bullet hit a water pipe in her adjacent building and it flooded a bunch of apartments below.

There were fun parts too, and met my second wife. Met Charles Barlkey in a bar eating chicken wings and that was fun.

The crime and urban scene got to be too much. Now I live outside of town on 20+ acres with normal neighbors. Still hear gunshots, but it's me and my neighbors!

You can start by telling your boys.

1. Don't stab anyone.
2. Don't steal things that don't belong to you.
3. Other things on how to be a normal human being and live in a polite society.

Crazy, but it works.

First of all, Kroger sucks so I won't be entering one, but if certain individuals want to act like we are in the jungle I say put cages around the whole store and let folks in staggered and monitor them like your life depended on it.

Per the Google, she's over half a decade late in her faux rage.

Quote:

Kroger has been utilizing metal security gatesboth for restricting access to specific aisles (such as baby care, cosmetics, and over-the-counter medicine) and for regulating customer entry/exitsince roughly 2019 to 2022

Besides, it's Atlanta, I'm sure there's plenty of other places she can shop at.

But, thanks to social media, everyone's got to share their faux rage for the likes and retweets.
