Our President kicking it off.

Kicking of the Celebration of America 250. A celebration of our founding, our history, and success of the most EXCEPTIONAL Country in the World, and it's not even close. A couple of weeks worth of it, to boot!

When founded, there was doubt here and around the World that it would last, but it has. Thankfully, was the leader in 2 World Wars to protect freedom of our country and said World.

The World is now seeing it in person for what it is and LOVING it via the World Cup. Seeing the greatness for themselves as our MSM and their media(s) try and hide it. Not a hell hole, but a truly EXCEPTIONAL country.

May God protect it, may we defend it, preserve it, forever!

God Bless AMERICA!

Hope y'all have fun. It just looks like a big Trump rally to me. Millennials and Xers who have aged like boomers, crammed into under-sized campaign shirts, parading around in the DC heat while overpaying for mediocre concessions. Maybe not quite as overrated as Disney World, but close to it. I think I'll pour myself a few cold ones, go to our local parade, run the 2 mile race, watch some baseball, and maybe curl up in my easy chair with some John Keegan military history, or maybe see if the catfish are biting.

What gave it away? American flags? Flyover? Patriotic sights and sounds? Singing of the National Anthem?

Celebrating all the states and territories? Acknowledging our accomplishments as a Nation and paying homage to the Founding Fathers?

Free to attend, free admission to the state and territory displays. Hell, its even free to ride the damn ferris wheel.

But since its no free food then Orange Man Bad still.

Sorry the Founding Fathers didn't consider your heat tolerance 250 years ago when they signed the Declaration of Independence.

And where most of us come from, you pop open a cold one. If you do so, you then pour it into an ice cold glass.
