I am in the minority I believe, but eliminating the income tax we have and going to a VAT or something similar is the only fair way to tax citizens. When a large block can vote for higher taxes on one group for their own benefit, taxation no longer meets whatever threshold the founders intended.

Once AI takes the jobs, they'll rob every single one of us except for the elites. Why do you think they're building those bunkers? They'll take your land. They'll have the control of AI and the drones, so good luck. Plus, they have us so dependent on AC, constant food supply, and porn/streaming, nobody is going to raise an eyebrow. We will all be given a monthly stipend that expires at the end of the month or is reduced/eliminated based on your credit score. You can use that money to buy your weed, porn, streaming, grubhub, uber, and what not. At the end of the month, it's gone. So absolutely no wealth generation.

What's the alternative at this point? It's going to get very dark. They've so *******ized capitalism with whatever we have now that people are rejecting it. People are voting for outright communists.

While I agree the rich pay their fair share in this country and then some, this analysis and any analysis of taxes paid need to look at all taxes paid by that individual and not just income taxes. FICA is a massive burden on the American people along with property taxes and sales taxes.
