Fixed or locked tuition rate for transfer student?

Quick opinions please. My daughter will be transferring in in the fall and of course we're being asked to provide an option before we can register. In your opinion which would be the best option for a kid transferring in with about 50-55 hrs under their belt?

They have a "The First Term of Enrollment Locked Rate" that is geared for transfer students, that is probably the safest bet. Cheaper than locked rate, but expires sooner.

Tuition cannot increase for 2024-2025, so that might impact the decision to choose variable over fixed.

Our thinking is that the variable rate can't increase next year, so we'll go with that to get the lower rate up front.
