Any tips for this weekend?

My daughter is a Junior in HS. My family of 4 are coming in for the weekend (Fri-Sun).

We have our hotel and have registered for the event Saturday.

It seems as though we will show up to the Rudder/MSC area by 9 am and from there there will be a lot of information booths, chances to take a tour and visit the specific college she is interested in (Business).

Any tips beyond that? In my mind it seems a bit unstructured and I don't want to miss something important for lack of asking.

So, any tips or suggestions from those of you in the know?

Incidentally, my son is a Freshman in HS and will be there as well. He is hoping to go to A&M as well.

Thanks!

Expect a madhouse and pack your patience. I can't speak to business but, last year for engineering, each department presentation had a line at the door that was at least one session's worth of kids.

As in, if you wanted to see the aerospace engineering presentation, you needed to not only wait for the current session to complete but also watch the next 30 minute session through the glass windows before you could be seated for the following session. It would have been nice to be able to pre-register for a few sessions to avoid waiting in line so much.

My high school sophomore at the time was still considering accounting and wanted to checkout Mays. By the time we finished up at Zachry for engineering and headed to West Campus around 2pm, the business school folks were already packing up.

Traffic on West Campus will be interesting in general:
Basketball game against t.u. is at 3pm (tickets still available!).
Softball at 4:30p
Indoor track and field SEC championships all weekend

Edit: Just read what I wrote and realized it sounded pretty pessimistic. Don't get me wrong...it's a good event but you are correct that it is somewhat unstructured. It's kinda like Disney...if you want to 'ride all the rides', you might find yourself exhausted and grumpy by the end of the day.

I just registered for Aggieland Saturday for my son and I to attend. I am looking all through the Aggieland Saturday website and don't see a schedule of events. Can anyone help me find it so I can plan the day? I heard there was an app that had maps and schedules, but I don't see a link for that.

Don't have a direct link to but it looks like it is Call Texas A&M Admissions Guidebook in the Google Play store.
