I am basically wondering now what my options are. I tried to email an advisor and got a really useless answer saying how i shouldn't retake it since it would cost extra money.

I was about 2 points off from a B in the class. I thought i would be able to retake it during the summer to pass with a B to get into PPA. However i've heard from different people you can't apply while taking ACCT 328 or upper level accounting courses which i will be enrolled in next semester. I also noticed that on the info website says that ppa can be applied to during or after taking 327 which I didn't understand. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

when do you intend to apply for the PPA? did you apply during this semester or do you intend to apply in the fall?

I would try to go get physically in front of a Mays advisor in-person ASAP prior to the end of the week and see what options you have...

maybe they'll let you in if you apply in the fall while taking ACCT 328 with the stipulation that you score really well in ACCT 328?

Are you dead set on PPA? I got a C in 327 as well and had decided beforehand just to get my undergrad degree in accounting. Did an audit internship, couldn't stand it.

Years later, with a top MBA degree, and in a dream prestige career.

ACCT 327 was the most challenging class I've ever taken.
