I have worked for this company for a little over 3 years now. Since then I have recruited 4 Ags via Texags that were hired and I would like to add more. See post above for my most recent previous job posting.

Position can be located in Houston, Dallas, Midland or Denver. The current conversion guys are in Midland & Houston.

Enertia Software

Found out yesterday that we are looking to add a SQL DBA \ Data Conversion person to our Conversion team. Primary role of this individual is to assist with new client implementations by building SQL routines that will take data from the new client's legacy system and transfer it to the appropriate tables in our SQL db.

Individual must...

- Be VERY strong with MS SQL, specifically SQL Server 2008
- Be able to work quickly & efficiently
- Be able to work on very large data sets (1700+ tables some with 1M+ records)
- Be able to communicate very well but also able to work independently
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness\desire to seek out projects when your existing projects are done or slow

To be successful in this role you must be able to multitask, communicate well, work well in a team oriented environment, be a self starter and show initiative.

Not sure if I will get an official job posting to provide you with additional info. Until then I will do my best to answer any questions you have. If you have any questions please feel free to post them here, PM or email (username at gmail). If you think you are a qualified candidate send your resume to my email and I will forward them along.

I've not been made privy to a range. The company has always been good to me and as I understand it they have always been good about offering compensation that is fair market value.

I'm a senior computer science major graduating in May with 3 part times jobs dealing with web development and have been exposed to some MySQL databases. Would May be too late?

Possibly too late but also likely not the level of SQL experience they are looking for.

I see, will there be any opportunities for recent grads at your company around May or would it be too early to know at this point.

Not sure. Owner's tendancy has been towards experienced hires to date.
