SR. SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

LOCATION: Dallas, TX (In-Person; 1-2 days remote post ramp)
OTE: $110,000 (Includes base of $65,000; plus 3-month ramp bonus)

With over 600,000 installations of SmartLink, our cloud-based irrigation management system, we consistently help properties save 20-60% in landscape water usage.

  • As a Sr. Sales Development Representative, you'll be the driving force behind our lead generation efforts, engaging with potential customers and setting the stage for successful sales engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Prospecting and Qualifying: Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through expert use of phone, email, LinkedIn, and other social media channels.
  • Mastering SmartLink: Gain in-depth knowledge of SmartLink and its benefits to articulate how it helps customers save water, money, and time.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives to target and penetrate high-value accounts, providing them with detailed executive summaries to aid in their expertise.
  • CRM Management: Expertly manage and update HubSpot, our CRM, to track leads, follow-ups, and ensure data integrity.
  • Mentorship and Learning: Continuously improve by shadowing Account Executives during meetings and demos, learning advanced sales techniques and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 18-36 months of experience in a Sales Development Representative or similar role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and qualification targets.

  • Advanced Relationship Building: Proficient in establishing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email marketing tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Data Analysis: Skilled in interpreting sales data, tracking KPIs, and conducting thorough market research to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving: Creative and strategic thinker with a history of overcoming obstacles.
  • Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of advanced sales principles, techniques, and strategies.

WORK EXPERIENCE
  • SDR Role Progression: Demonstrated successful progression in an SDR role with 12+ months of consistent target achievement.
  • Appointment Setting: Extensive experience with cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn InMails, and other methods to set high-quality appointments.
  • Achieving Activity Goals: A proven track record of exceeding daily activity goals and quotas.
  • Mastery of Core Skills: Demonstrated expertise in objection handling, lead nurturing, and relationship management.
  • Career Advancement: Experience in roles that show career progression, including mentorship or leadership within an SDR team.
  • Customer Interaction: Extensive experience in roles requiring direct client interaction and relationship management.
