she has a masters and has been department head for 10 years. She is good at what she does or whatever she would do.

just looking for something a little more flexible.

An accounting assistant at a consulting firm could be a good fit. Our firm (HDR) has hired several former English teachers as marketing coordinators, and they seem to pick it up fairly well with a little bit of training. A lot of it is herding cats in getting resumes and content from engineers and scientists for proposals.

Several have expressed they have better work / life balance and feel valued as employees, mainly because they don't have to deal with parents.

we are southeast. willing to drive anywhere if its hybrid and the right opportunity though.

My sister and I used to do temp work through Primary Services in Houston years ago. I had 4 different stints there - I was always offered a full time job because of my good work ethic.
