I work for a small non-profit education organization that is currently looking to hire multiple applicants for our Expanding Texas Mobile STEM Labs program. We've recently received funding from the Texas Education Agency to expand our mobile lab program from one lab to nine. To run the program next school year, we'll need multiple STEM Education Outreach Coordinators. You do not need to be a certified teacher to apply for this position, but it is highly recommended to have some teaching or informal education experience (camp counselor, tutor, etc.). Here's the link to our Join Us page. Let me know if you have any questions.

The travel is going to vary on where you live. Some areas, like West Texas, will require more overnight travel than the Austin and San Antonio regions. If she'd like to know more, please feel free to shoot me an email at: katie@learningundefeated.org.

This sounds like the perfect job for a freshly retired science teacher who wants to collect their TRS monthly income and continue working in the field of education. I'll pass the link along to a couple of the high school science teachers that I know would love the opportunity and wouldn't mind the travel requirements at all.
