Howdy,

I'm graduating this upcoming May as a Petroleum Engineer with a certificate in Petroleum Finance (PVP Program) along with ~0.5 my Petroleum classes taken at the graduate level.

Previously I've worked as a Deepwater GOA reservoir engineer intern, and a Hydraulic Fracture engineer intern, but I'm looking for a production/field Ops Role for a full time career.

Do any of y'all know anybody looking for entry level Petroleum Engineers?

Highly suggest taking a look at the Midstream market. Lots of hiring right now (eg. Kinder, Williams) across the board. Also, don't be afraid to go service/OEM route.

I am PETE as well (c/o '14) and have been on both sides of the table (seller/buyer). Both are very rewarding and have offered me tremendous opportunities in a short time.

They don't generally do a good job of highlighting the magnitude of industry needs. Find a passion, develop a niche, and run with it!

PETE here as well ('05). I commend you for looking for a field/ops role, that is a great path and can be very helpful down the road. I don't know of anyone hiring for a role like that, but encourage you to keep networking and reaching out to any contacts or connections that may know somebody that's hiring.

I'm job hunting now as well, because my previous employer was acquired this year. Hang in there and stay patient and stick with it.
