Has anyone in education transitioned to a private christian school? My sister is considering making the move and insist her major discipline issues will disappear practically overnight.

My wife did 2 years ago and we've never been happier

There's still discipline issues but the 'worst' are nothing compared to public

Big-Time, would you say there was a major drop off in salary?

Depends on the school. There was a drop, but they offered tuition discount which was huge with 3 kids. They also offer stipends for odds and ends jobs, so for us, it was worth it. Getting off the hamster wheel, supportive admin and well behaved kids (apart from a few things) but those are so minor in comparison.

Was so worth it, but depends on the family situation.

Edit to add: once we baked in the tuition discount, stipends (I even picked one up to coach JH football), the drop wasn't noticeable.
