Lesson learned is that when the NFL Network fantasy guy says HH is averaging 8+ PPG, it's not necessarily 8 points EACH game, but rather 2 points in week 1 and 14 points in week 2.

If you just read texags I told you to expect 4 points as the most likely outcome. So that's on you (jk)

Patriots better hope Drake Maye is the guy, because it gets rough once you're on the wrong side of the QB cycle. Patriots record per year post TB12:

2020 - 7-9
2021 - 10-7, wild card, lost in 1st round of playoffs
2022 - 8-9
2023 - 4-13
2024 - 1-2

Hard to tell if he's the guy when the surrounding weapons and OL are so damn bad.

Maye almost with the surprise first rookie TD pass. That would have been a fun twist.

The week I'm facing them. Nice! Love it when my opponents DST or Kickers dice me up.

He was sacked 3 times including the last play so I think they decided to let it be. Their o-line is not good enough.

Man, having to go all the way back to college is not a good look. He's extremely injury-prone. I own Bowers and there's zero chance I'd trade him for Dobbins (having owned Dobbins myself in years past).

Hate to be the hindsight guy, but this is what Hunter Henry on the Pats does. One or two juicy weeks and a bunch of duds after that. Unless Drake Maye comes in and looks good, I don't think anyone on the Pats offense is a consistent start.

I'm looking at Rhamondre and wondering if he and Dobbins won't be in the same boat. Will be a great starter if the game script and decent to meh run defense on the other side. But could be nothing otherwise.
I think Dobbins likely has a 5-6 point floor though so not as risky.

Fields isn't Aaron Rodgers so the game script will likely be totally different from last night. I have Dobbins too but due to Mixons injury I'm starting him alongside ETN and Brian Robinson Jr.

My team I feel really good about - 10 team league, is 0-2 and near the bottom of the standings despite the 4th most points scored.

Week1: lost by 6 while my opponent's kicker, Moody, scored 26
Week2: lost by 9 while the K+DST disparity was +18 for my opponent.


I feel like Jake Elliott should be a good kicker to roster.. but I guess I need to start streaming better defenses.

8th out of 10, #2 in PF (but #2 by about 60 points). Lost wk 1 by 3 points, got smashed in week 2 by the #1 team. Week 3 with Hunter Henry is not starting off well.

Carolina Panthers gave up 34 points to Kamara + Jamaal in week 1 and 26 points to JK + Gus in week 2.

They face LV this week.

Does the promise hope of Zamir White taking Josh Jacobs' old role finally come to fruition, fantasy-scoring-wise, this weekend?

Engram and Njoku are questionable. The best TEs available are Brenton Strange from Jacksonville and Greg Dulcich from Denver.

I also have Puka sitting on IR. Do I cut Puka loose to pick up an extra TE for this week so I have guaranteed points?

Brenton Strange/ Even Engram won't play until Monday. You can probably wait until you know for sure (maybe tomorrow or maybe on Sunday) if Njoku is playing, and start him if he is. If he's not, move him to the bench (if you can drop anytime on bench), then wait to figure out whether Engram is playing on Monday. If so, start him. If not, drop Njoku and pick up and start Strange. I doubt your opponent or anyone in your league is going to grab Strange today, tomorrow, Sunday, or even on Monday just to play keep away from you. I don't think you'll miss Njoku that much. You'll get Engram back week 4 and his bye isn't until week 12 so you have time to manage your way through that.

I wouldn't risk losing Puka for someone that probably will get you 4 pts

Cut one of your TEs. You won't want to roster 2 much less 3.
You could trade Puka for a better TE right now. You might even try Puka for Bowers. Worse the guy can say is no.
