I wouldn't call it that dumb, Geno has been a good (not great) QB since he took over in Seattle. If they didn't like any QB in this draft this gives them the ability to be competitive for the next few years in a division that they don't have a chance winning, no matter the QB they can get, until Mahomes retires.

Yeah, why not just go with Justin Fields for free or much cheaper. They won't have a running game so their offense will still be bad.

I don't think Travis Etienne will end up as a jaguar by the end of this season. Just speculation on my part.

They have Bigsby. Etienne is on the last year of his rookie deal ($6 MM cap hit in '25). I think whichever team misses out on a rookie running back or first big running back that gets injured will be his landing spot. I could see Dallas making sense. A good check down and explosive back like a Tony Pollard.

It is a good trade for Seattle. I don't think DK is worth the salary. He isn't a 10-12 targets a game kind of guy. Which tells me he isn't an elite route runner. Now guy is a beast in the air but I feel like that skill has a shorter expiration date.
Also steelers are going to be somewhere between 7-10 and 11-6.
