Who did you have to get at the 2/3?

I think Garrett Wilson late 4th and Tet in the 5th we're big pickups for your team.

What happened? Assuming you went Saquon, Allen, Wilson? Ah I see you took Bowers

TBH this team needs some work. I don't like that you only have one starting RB and lack of an alpha WR.

Yeah, that's a lot of RB handcuffs!

And they could hit but they're lotto tickets at this point.

Same with some of the WRs. Tet, Odunze, Pearsall...All nice depth pieces but lacking that week in week out producer that's not matchup dependent.

I'm even high on Garrett Wilson but I don't like him enough to slot in as a WR1.

Play the waiver wire well and look to package some of those WRs to trade for a starting RB who can be your RB2 or a high end WR to slot as a WR1. I'd even consider trading Bowers and grabbing a TE off waivers depending on who's there or rolling the dice on Pitts keeping an eye on waivers for the next breakout TE.

I strongly disagree here.

G Wilson and Tet are great pieces. Both are the clear #1 WR with no WR2 competition really.
Pearsall looked good end of last season. He is poised for a breakout with no WR competition.
Odunze, lots of talk of him stepping up.

The likelihood of getting 2 top 15 WRs out of that group is strong in my opinion.

Yeah I agree with this assessment. WR's are strong in this group…the rb's are the issue. Being active on waiver wire and sending trade opps is the best bet to improve moving forward.

Someone talk me off the ledge because I really don't like the way my draft played out even though ESPN graded my draft the best. .5 ppr, and I had pick 5 out of 10.

Bowers was my later round keeper.

Qb: Hurts
RB: Hampton, Montgomery
WR: Lamb, AJ Brown
Te: Bowers
Flex: Tet McMillan
K: Bates
D: streaming but have Seahawks currently

Bench:
Croskey Merritt, Jordan Mason, Ollie Gordon, Egbuka, Downs

Considering dropping Downs to pickup Dak…had I known he'd go undrafted I'd have taken someone other than hurts but I felt I needed a stack after missing out on my RB plan in the beginning of the draft.

I don't love it either. not the way I wanted it to go.

After Saquon at #3, I didn't want to take Bowers second at #22, but the WRs available in that range (McConkey, Tee Higgins) didn't excite me, nor a second RB at 22 as best available was Kyren. Thought there was more value in having the #1 of the "big three" TEs and I started the TE train as McBride and Kittle went right after that.

..then I didn't want to take Allen third at #27 overall, but someone else took Lamar right before that- I continued the QB train knowing the big 4 QBs would be gone before my next pick at #46. and sure enough, Hurts and Daniels went right afterwards.... Allen felt more valuable than best avail WRs- Tyreek or JSN- or a second RB out of James Cook or Omarion Hampton, as I'd be reaching down and drafting any of those four a good bit above their ADP. So, no WRs until 46 and 51 (Garrett and Tetairoa). Took two more WRs with next two at 70 and 75 (Oduzne and Pearsall) to hedge so obviously I'm in big trouble at RB2. Best avail RBs at 70 and 75 were Tyrone Tracey and Aaron Jones- two guys liable to get passed up this season by Skatt and Mason respectively. I do have some great handcuffs if CMC or Ken Walker go down this season though. Hoping that elite RB1, QB, TE combo can carry me if three of my WRs can be consistently productive.

that looks really solid for 10 team to me.

You executed really well at least through round 7 in my book. Maybe being aggressive for Eckler, Ford or braelon Allen would have been good plays.

I do think you are lucky you didn't go Lamb. You'd been forced to do Kyren or reach for Hampton.

exactly. ...I had #2 overall last year and took Lamb... his shoulder issue last third of the season and being shut down last couple games of the season (FF Playoffs) almost cost me dearly. -i was fortunate to have Nabers, London, McBride, and to have picked up Bucky mid-season on waivers, as that #2 overall WR pick didn't really help me win the league other than maybe 1-2 games early in the season. Feel better having a reliable RB1 with such as early pick.. We'll see tomorrow night with Saquon vs the Parsons-less Cowboys... maybe not really having an RB2 right now will be ok in PPR.

It is 10 team so the goal is different.
Top 5 QB, check
Top 3 TE, check
Top 10 WR, double check with a stack.

Id maybe look at dropping downs for an upside RB. I dont think Downs has top 15 WR in him and would maybe start just 2-3 weeks for you. Even then not until bye weeks.

Picked 12th in a 12 team league:

QB: Hurts
RB: Achane
RB: Hampton
WR: Nico Collins
WR: Ridley
Flex: Waddle
TE: Kraft
K: Bates/Stream
D: Cardinals/Stream

Bench:
T Hunter, J Warren, Etienne, Charbonnet

I panic picked Waddle because I was running out of time (I hate having back to back picks with 1 minute pick times), but overall I think I'm pretty happy with this team. I probably should have gone TE instead of Waddle at the beginning of the sixth round because everyone was gone by the time my next pick came around (and I don't feel great about Waddle/the Dolphins this year).

Yahoo gave me a D- for this draft. I don't think it deserved a D-, but probably a C or so.

10 team league, 1 PPR. I drafted 9th.

I normally don't take so many RBs and I'm not sure why I took so many this year.

In my ESPN league, I took WR first in the first three rounds, which is my norm.

1. Malik Nabers
2. Derrick Henry (I'm not sure I've drafted a RB this high before
3. Jayden Daniels
4. Mike Evans
5. Jameson Williams (way too high)
6. David Montgomery
7. Tyrone Tracy
8. Mark Andrews
9. Travis Etienne
10. David Njoku
11. Rahid Shaheed
12. J.J. McCarthy
13. Rhamondre Stevenson
14. Josh Downs
15. Houston Def
16. Cam Skattebo (taking a flier on a rookie)

I dropped Josh Downs to pick up a kicker last night. None of my kickers were available at round 16 so I wanted to do some more research.

Fire away.

I definitely think picking at 10-12 is the prime spot for this years board.

I'd drop McCarthy to go pick up downs

I don't see the need in carrying 2 QBs if you have a top end week to week QB like Daniels. McCarthy won't be starting for you unless shlt goes sideways and Daniels goes down.

At that point you're probably screwed anyways.

I had pick #1 (10 team league) last year and HATED it. 1 to 20 is way too long between picks.

I'm hoping for 4-7 this year.

QB- Baker Mayfield
RB- Jamyr Gibbs
RB- Jonathon Taylor
WR- Tee Higgins
WR-Davante Adams
TE-Mark Andrew's
Flex-Emeka Egbuka
DST-Denver
K-Josh Bates
Bench- R Harvey, T Etienne, D Mooney, K Pitts, L Burden, J Blue

12 team PPR. Had the 6th pick. The automated Yahoo draft analysis pretty much panned my draft and said I'd finish 1-13. But I'm optimistic so curious what yall think. Took some flyers on some rooks and boom or bust types (like Pitts). But honest thoughts?

Gibbs, JT, and Higgins at 6, 19, and 30 were probably the right picks at those spots. Gibbs went higher than 6 in a lot of leagues. I'm high on Egbuka and RJ Harvey this year- wish I could have nabbed one or both of them. ...but I personally am glad I'm not relying on JT or any Colts players, nervous about Adams, but probably the right pick at #54, and I was burned by Mark Andrews' horrible year last year- hope he makes a full comeback to his old self for you.

Not bad

The Good - I like the Gibbs Taylor combo at RB. I think Gibbs at 6 is a steal. After coming back from injury last season Taylor was an absolute stud. He's a great RB2 for you. Mayfield as a late QB is a good selection.

The Bad - I don't like your WRs all that much. Higgins is solid but he's still a #2 WR and while it'll still probably be enough he's relegated to leftovers after Chase gets his. I worry about all the LAR skill players with Stafford nursing that back injury.

The Ugly - Every season I think to myself 'One day people will learn to stop drafting Kyle Pitts' but sure enough here we are. I get the intrigue but at this point he's a wasted pick to me.

Pitts was my last pick in round 15. there's the glimmer of hope that Penix and the ATL offense is different and finally better utilizes Pitt's skillset. ...but he's also the first drop when a juicy waiver wire pick up is there or when that first round of bye weeks starts hitting.

12 team .5 PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, FLEX, DEF - 10th pick

(10) D Henry
(15) Puka
(34) Kittle
(39) TreVeyon Henderson
(58) G Pickens
(63) Pacheco
(82) Dak - mistake (Wrs on board, Deebo, Rice, Coleman, J Myers,Diggs-QBs-Nix, Purdy, Maye)
(87) Golden
(106) Downs
(111) Judkins
(130) Olie Gordon
(135) Mixon
(154) D Thornton
(159) JJ McCarthy
(178) T Brooks
(183) T Horton

Think Dak in the 7th was a big mistake and cost me WR depth. There were plenty of comparable QBs and that was the end of the Wrs

10 team .5 PPR, drafted in the #2 spot (which I hate)

Q Nix
R Taylor, Brown
W Chase, Adams
T Kittle
Flex Pearsall
K Gay
D SF

Bench:
Dak
Hunter
T Warren
Charbonnet
Downs
Judkins
B Allen

I'm pretty OK with my starters, but I ended up with too many sleepers and handcuffs on my bench. And I got bad info on Judkins.

I called them The Chase is ON, but I'm open to suggestions.

I like that team a lot and I'm shocked you got Taylor and Brown in rd 2 and 3. I had pick 5 in a 10 team and both were gone before my 2nd round pick.
texagbeliever

You are in a 10 team without a large bench; you dont really have a need to roster a non-sleeper or handcuff until week 5 or so. RB might be a little thin but braelon allen / charbonet could save the day there.

Only less then ideal is Chase Brown and Jamaar Chase. But the value was likely there.

10-team PPR, drafted 7th:

QB - J. Hurts
RB - C. Brown, T. Henderson
WR - C. Lamb, N. Collins
TE - J. Ferguson
Flex - T. McMillan
DST - LA Rams
K - Y. Koo
Bench - R. Odunze, R. Pearsall, J. Dobbins, K. Johnson, J. Mason, K. Pitts

Wasn't able to secure an elite TE and got sniped on Tyler Warren, so ended up punting the position. Will see how Ferguson and Pitts perform early and keep my eye on waiver wire options. I have four players on Week 5 byes (Koo, Odunze, Johnson, and Pitts) so will have an early opportunity to reevaluate my roster. I plan on using Rams DST for the first two weeks (vs HOU, at TEN), then reevaluate in Week 3 as their schedule gets more difficult.

Oh, and good luck to the TexAgs Fantasy Football community this season!

Lamb and Nico fell to 7th and 14th in a PPR league? WOW. You should be golden.

Brown and Hurts at 27 & 34, McMillan & Henderson at 47 and 54- solid draft I think.
