Allen covered up the Worthy injury / Henderson dud quite nicely

So Najee Harris is essentially useless this year, yea?

I've got mixon on the bench in case he ever returns, but it looks like my starting backs are Achane & Hunt this year

I got smoked this week, thanks to subpar performances by Chase, Nix, and Adams, plus Daniel Jones stealing TDs from Taylor and a kicker that only kicks PATs.

first 7 rounds of my draft went RB, TE, QB, WR, WR, WR, WR

I didn't draft a 2nd RB until 8th round (#94 overall) in a 12 team league. ...didn't feel great about it, but didn't love the best options available in the previous rounds vs value for what I picked and needed WRs more desperately starting in 4th.

...I'm feeling much better about it today after week 1.

Charbonnet ended up out-carrying Walker and scored a TD
Croskey-Merrett ended up out-carrying Ekeler and McNichols combined and scored a TD despite being #4 on the official depth chart
Brian Robinson Jr was the clear #2 behind the oft-injured CMC, as Isaac G got zero carries
my week 1 rb2 starter Rhamondre was out out-touched by henderson and didn't do anything in week 1, but remains involved in early downs and still out snapped henderson by almost double.

Hit my projection thanks to Denver's Defense, Baker and Egbuka having great games. Lucked out even with Gibbs and Taylor and Adams and Higgins all having sub par games . Though they were mitigated by the league being PPR. Davante still had 8 targets so that's promising. Taylor had a td snaked from him with 20+ touches, and Gibbs still had 10 catches (though I am a little concerned with how much they trotted Montgomery out there in the run game and only gave Gibbs 9 carries)

My big issue is Mark Andrews only getting 1 target all game (1 catches for 5yds). Hoping it's an aberration going up against the Bills. My backup is Kyle Pitts and actually had a decent game riding the bench. Could be a fluke there but would be nice to see him get points on par with his potential finally.

Based on 2024 season, Mark Andrews week 1 2025 stat line was NOT an aberration but an indicator that he's washed. He's a TE2/bench stash and perhaps a drop candidate, especially when Likely returns, IMO. Was on my DO NOT DRAFT list this year.

I also have Pitts on my bench. 15th round / last pick. 8 targets week 1 with Penix as the entrenched starter, and now with Mooney AND London banged up, is more promising.

14 team +, I think so.

12 team, id lean yes with his knee issue. I know report is he isnt worried but it is early to be knocked out with a knee issue for a guy that will be tackled at the knees often. In my opinion.

I'm hoping for an update on Bowers before waivers clear, but yes, I'd put a claim for Pitts even if considering holding onto high-ish priority.

Waiver claims for a TE could be placed in your league by the Kittle (hamstring), Bowers (knee), Engram (calf), and/or Andrews (washed up) owners, plus any opponents playing keep away. and Hockensen and Loveland haven't played yet (tonight) so let's see how they fare because another TE injury or horrible MN or CHI offense or bad split with their TE2s could add more competition for TE waivers.


If Pitts goes to someone with higher priority, consider Kittle's back up (scored a TD yesterday), Juwan Johnson from the Saints (11 targets and TE#1 yesterday), or Fannin from Cleveland (9 targets yesterday)

Just talked to #Raiders TE Brock Bowers and he says he’s fine. Took a little hit on the knee, came out to get checked out. No concerns moving forward.

Yeah, I think Etienne has clearly locked down the RB1 role in Jax. Maybe worth keeping an eye on Tuten as he would be next in line should something happen to Etienne.
