Okay I like the new kick off rules, but my god if we're going to have penalties on every single one then get rid of it and go back to kick offs 10 rows deep.

All that really matters defensively anymore at the college and NFL level is what you do in the redzone. Outside of the most elite units, modern offensive schemes and rules make moving the ball between the 20s just ridiculously easy. Turnovers and stops in the redzone are what decide most games.

I kinda don't like that it's made the sport a lot more generic and predictable (similar to how almost all NBA games are decided in the final 5 minutes and watching anything else feels like a waste of time) but it does make watching the important parts of every game easy.

Myles Sanders is such a spare. Guy just gives us nothing.

Free plays are fun here because unlike most QBs who just throw a nine route down the sideline, Dak likes to find the hardest possible throw he can and try it on those plays.

Dak is holding the ball for what feels like an eternity.

Having a great pass rush without blitzing really covers up a lot. The Giants are a bad team everywhere else but that pass rush is gonna keep them in lots of games.

Doesn't hurt that they are pass rushing against one of worst tackles in the league at LT. Guyton reminds me of a Coach Fran tackle taking on a Tennessee SEC DL in the Cotton Bowl. He in no way looks the part and plays like it too

The thing is, if Russ plays half way decent, they can win games. Nabors is a stud. Robinson is a good WR. Their defensive front is legit.

They shouldn't be awful.

What do you want him to do? Offenses become non-functional in the NFL if the QB starts assuming no blindside protection every snap.

You can either live with some sacks and pressures, or become the kind of dunk and dunk offense that NFL defenses eat up.

The week 1 honeymoon is officially over.
