The Colts have punted the balll... ZERO times this year. That is a really offensive team. Kind of reminds me of the Eagles (Not as good).

The Colts can't keep up this pace. They will slow down. Question is how much will they slow down.

I'm not in the Daniel Jones sweepstakes but I would be very nervous spending most of if not all of my FAAB in Wk 3 on Daniel Jones.

It's a risky move but I'm interested to see how some of the QB desperate owners (Burrow, Fields, McCarthy, etc) play the Daniel Jones situation. There is crap for QBs on the waiver wire in our league and some of these guys are only carrying 1 QB.

Any thoughts on Survivor picks for Week 3? Note that this is a small freeroll at work (25 players left with a $50 prize at the end, classic 18 week schedule). I have gone chalk the first two weeks (Denver and Baltimore). That being said, I have come up with a couple of paths for the next few weeks:

Path A:
Week 3 - MIA @ BUF (-12.5)
Week 4 - CLE @ DET
Week 5 - TEN @ ARI

Path B:
Week 3 - GB (-7.5) @ CLE or NYJ @ TB (-6.5) or NO @ SEA (-7.5)
Week 4 - CLE @ DET
Week 5 - NE @ BUF

I am leaning Path B as I think at some point Tennessee is going to open up their offense and could be a problem down the line. With Path B, I think I would take Tampa Bay this week assuming Fields is out for the Jets and save Green Bay for later. Seattle is also a decent option but I'm still not 100% sold on Darnold running the offense and New Orleans has been competitive to open the season.

A lot depends too on whether Buffalo should be used as the largest favorite in Week 3 or wait a couple more weeks. Assuming Buffalo will be heavily owned in Week 3, I may be able to get a little different by holding them until Week 5.

Buff over saints wk4
Lions over Bengals wk5.

That's not a bad option either. I will say I far prefer Detroit at home versus on the road, even if it is at Cincy with a backup QB. I will need to give the path you laid out some thought.

If colts offense is what it appears to be through two weeks, might grab their kicker. Dude is on a tear.

Jones already snatched up in my leagues. I lean Jones. might be chasing last two weeks' points, but at some point that trend could become the norm. Colts look like a completely different team on offense so far.

i drafted the Denver defense... they helped me to a championship most of last year and were ranked #1 on draft boards.. and having a later bye I figured i wouldn't have to worry about any streaming- set it and forget it... but now I'm looking at their schedule for the next 5 or so weeks and their performance last week (1 sack, 0 TOs, 29 points conceded) and wondering if I should drop a bench stash and think about streaming defenses some of these weeks. ...or are the Colts just that good this year?

Id only worry about 2 of those offenses: LAC and Phi. Stream those weeks.
Broncos are a near lock for a TD against the Bengals. Browning threw 3 picks. Dallas is the other to consider.

well, agreed, but I also typically don't like to roster two defenses until i'm getting closer to the final third of the FF season and planning ahead based on FF playoff matchups ...yet I've never drafted the #1 defense before- would feel dumb dropping them already to stream in week 3. my other drop candidate besides DEN is Christian Kirk, who has been in my IR slot for weeks 1 and 2, but he's back.. could be a solid #2 WR to keep rostered- was hoping to wait and see first.

I think den against the chargers is still an okay play. And likely you cant get a good streaming option now anyways.

Thus why I don't ever draft a defense until round 15 or 16. I know I will be streaming all year no matter what.

same usually.. i went DEN in 12th round and started the train.. thought I'd try something new being first to draft a defense. ...since DEN helped me win it all last year. ...just glanced at their schedule like... damn it..

What's the general consensus on Calvin Ridley?

Yeah I had him on my target draft list but missed out.

He's on the roster of a team I'm trying to swing a trade with and I'm wondering if he's worth pursuing as a buy low FLEX/stash piece.

yeah, he was probably around a 6th round pick or so in 12 team leagues.. was drafted by someone to be their WR2 and Cam Ward is not only completing only 50% of his passes, but Ayomanor is getting a big chunk of the targets. the owner could part with him for cheap.

ehh it's pretty much the same schedule as the Browns... except with ARI, ATL*2, HOU*2, SEA, JAX*2, TEN*2
instead of BAL*2, GB, DET, MIN, CIN*2, BUF, PIT*2

prob easy Jones, feels like he's 1 more good performance to from an auto start (outside of owning a top 4 QB) until proven otherwise, so getting a game ahead of that isn't unreasonable

I have this exact situation. I currently have Caleb Williams plugged in. I'm worried about the Jets implodinig and TB just burning clock.

Which side is better:
Dak + Tet + Skattebo
Higgins + Mason

Keep in mind the team with Dak has fields and Daniel Jones. While team getting Dak has Penix.

I'd rather hold Tet + Skatt and not give an opponent a qB upgrade. I don't see how that team really benefits that much from Higgins or Mason.

I did the deal. I personally value RB much more highly. I got masson and higgins.
Thinking: Bengals offense wont change much other than more interceptions. + Panthers offense will just be bad and lots of work to hubbard. (Two injuries on the interior line).

Skattebo is on a bad offense and will split. Mason could be the bellcow.

i was seeing that the opposite.

I'm thinking Mason will continue to split with Aaron Jones all year, while Skattebo will eventually take over for Tracy.
..and Higgins will continue to be a #2 wr with a back up QB, while Tetairoa will continue to be an alpha wr1 volume hog where Bryce Young could get better as season goes along.

You might be fine rolling with Dan Jones all season and didn't need Dak, but you gave an opponent an upgrade at QB and possibly WR.. who else did that guy have at RB after giving up Mason and getting Skatt leboubou?
