Is there anyone secretly plugged into the Texans in here?

Is there ANY hope Mixon comes back this year? I've been holding onto that late round flyer pick like a baby with a blanket but damn I'm running out of choices with my injuries and byes. Don't want to cut him for Slayton but may have to. Got Chuba possibly out this week and Swift on his bye can't replace him. So may just have to run Michael Carter out there this week at RB2 and put Slayton in my flex. Just picked up Mason Taylor as a backup TE and I'd like to keep him if I knew I could comfortably drop Mixon. But I keep clinging to that hope……

I am a 49ers fan, and I am glad the 49ers held off the Rams for a 26-23 overtime road win to improve to 4-1 and 3-0 in division play. I also received 13.80 points from Devante Adams.

You don't need a backup TE. Especially if it's a no name that you can drop and pick up any time. Who's your starter?

All we can do is go off of what the beat writers have to say, and it doesn't sound great…

Then again two guys in my league just dropped Njoku and Engram. I could possibly come back next week and get one of them? Engram has been dog crap this year though and Njoku hasn't been much better

Yes just stick with Juwan he's fine.

Now the chances of Mixon coming back this year and helping in fantasy seems slim and grows less each week. But I wouldn't drop him just to be able to hold a 2nd TE. Drop your 2nd TE and pick up a flyer at RB or WR, whichever is your greater need.

I would go Darnold, playing a softer defense at home. Someone dropped Mixon in one of my leagues last week, no one has picked him up.

feel like i should pick up dowdle and start him this week, but no one to drop. can't drop Strange, because Bowers DNP yesterday.

Drop your kicker to add dowdle. If Bowers is out add kicker that way start strange. If Bowers isnt out drop strange.

my IR spot is already filled by Pearsall. used that to pick up Strange.

could drop Christian Kirk. currently starting at flex with Pearsall out and Oduzne on bye. would start Dowdle at flex instead of Kirk. I hate panthers though. already suffering with Tetairoa. I think i'll pass on a one week stream of dowdle.

Well I was able to pick up Dowdle so now I'm torn. All seem to be ranked right around each other except Pickens.

WR1: Pickens
WR2: Worthy
RB1 and RB2: K9, Chase Brown, Dowdle, Woody Marks, Demercado (need 2)
Flex 1 and 2: The RBs above plus Wan'Dale Robinson and Michael Pittman (need 2)

I feel like Dowdle and Marks have the best matchups but K9 and Brown are better players. Pittman is so consistent but Wandale without Nabors is interesting in a good matchup.

I think I like Diggs…going to play into the revenge narrative. For what it's worth, I'm playing Diggs in Flex in my PPR league this week (Odunze on bye, CeeDee and Pearsall hurt).

I think I like Walker and Marks, Robinson and Pittman. Very close between Walker and Dowdle for the last spot.

The revenge narrative should not be used to make fantasy decisions. HTH.

Considering picking up Rico as my opponent will have to go to WW for an RB with Chubba being ruled out. Dont have any clear drops, and have ended up with three QBs. Thoughts? Hold off and try to trade one? 12 team league.

There is no reason to roster 3 QBs in a 12-team league. Drop 1 or 2 of them. Would drop Jones.

With Bowers unlikely to go I need to pick up a TE. I don't feel like I have any droppable players I'm willing to lose to pickup a scrub TE. So I'm looking to trade up.

Terrible. No reason to think anything will change. I bet he demands a trade in the offseason. Hurts simply cannot throw him an accurate ball.

I like Deebo here, especially with McLaurin out. New England is a 3-way mess in the backfield, which is unfortunate because if Henderson could get to at least 60% of the snaps he would have great upside. But until this happens, it's really hard to play him.
