Yep. In spite of my feelings through last week about Eberflus, part of the credit for today should go to Ebeflus and defensive staff. While the first half is what we have seen most of the season, the second half was a complete flip of the script.
Let's hope this bodes well for the rest of the season.

Even tho much of what they do doesn't show up in the box score, you can't understate how much a couple of DTs that can wreck shop can impact a game. That + better LB play behind them is allowing a big step forward. The secondary still has a lot of issues, but the line did a good job of making Hurts uncomfortable

You have to remain true to whatever your strongest unit is. For Dallas, it certainly seems to be built aro7nd stopping the run up the middle, which is a total change from where they were. Any identity is welcome. Plus making Hurts beat you with his arm is a good recipe if you can do it.

defense looks 100x better
however Philly is a terrible second half team and have been for years

Getting the sip LB back has made a difference on this defense. That and Sanborn not in the starting lineup

Sanborn hasn't played in about a month. The real LB issue is Murray, which yes, both Overshown and Wilson have alleviated that. Murray's PFF grade puts him at 79th out of 84 LBs, yet he's one of the league leaders in snaps played from a count and % perspective - I think he may have been tied for the lead in snaps thru last week and was essentially never leaving the field (95-100% of defensive snaps). I haven't seen yesterday's, but last week dropped to 43% and I think yesterday was a lot less than that.
Big picture, with the cap flexibility they had, it is borderline criminal to go into 2025 where Murray is what you consider your best healthy LB by a good margin
