My 12 team league has four teams tied at the top at 8-4 and three teams (including me) tied below them at 7-5. One team is at 6-6. Those 8 are vying for 6 playoff seeds with two weeks to go, and I'm in 7th at 7-5, although I've scored more points than two of the 8-4 teams. I've had the most points scored against me in the league. ..but in these last two weeks before playoffs, I play two teams above me, including the top team in wk 14 in which I'm going to be in dire shape with only one healthy WR.
Week 13, I'm facing a team that doesn't look great on paper- Pickens, McConkey, Kittle, Bijan are best players.
Week 14, I'll face a team with JT and Gibbs and Lamar and no one on bye, while for me, Tet and Pearsall are on bye and Garrett will still be on IR.
Ugh. What can I do with this squad? Can't afford another dud from Josh Allen, or continued duds from Saquon, Odunze, Tet, Bowers. I might be hosed at flex unless there's a free agent out there worth gambling on.
Q: Josh Allen
RB: Saquon and Dowdle
WR: Odunze and Tet
TE: Bowers
K: Fairbairn
D: Denver
Flex options:
Pearsall, Devin Neal, Charbonnet, Rhamondre
Bench trash no longer needed:
Caleb Williams
Holding for week 14 vs TEN: Cleveland d/st.
Holding because I refuse to believe CMC makes it thru the season getting 30+ touches/game: BRJ
In IR sport (will return wk 15 if I make playoffs/ or for consolation bracket): Garrett Wilson
Do I give Pearsall a third chance since returning from injury in the flex spot? He dudded out last two weeks despite high involvement in the O. He mostly clears out deep to open underneath routes for Kittle.. or he blocks. but two of Purdy's INTs last week were deep balls intended for Pearsall, including one in the endzone.
or I start Devin Neal @MIA in Kamara's absence?
Top FA options (need a WR for week 14, but could possibly use a flex starter this week if Pearsall or Neal aren't worth the gamble).
