My playoff opponent received 46.50 points form Puka Nacua and 4.10 points from Colby Parkinson, and I received just 2 points from Jason Myers. Myers attempted only 2 extra-point kicks because the Seahawks attempted the 2-point conversion 3 times and converted all 3 attempts. It's even crazier how Myers didn't attempt even one field goal in this very wild game that made history or defied the odds in numerous ways.
It was also unfortunate that DeVante Adams, one of my receivers was out. I benched Matthew Stafford because Adams' injury made me think that Stafford would not post huge numbers against one of the best defenses on the road on a short week.
The Rams made the wrong kind of history in at least two ways:
The Rams are the first team in NFL history to be up by seven points in overtime and still lose the game.
https://ramblinfan.com/rams-make-nfl-history-in-week-16-loss-for-all-the-wrong-reasonsAccording to Stathead, the Rams are the first team ever to gain 500-plus yards and win the turnover margin by three and still lose the game. Previously, such teams were 93-0 in the regular season. Now they're 93-1.
