How did your team(s) do this year?

What was your best draft pick?

What was your best mid-season move?

My way too early 2026 top 5/6
1. JaMarr Chase. Healthy Burrow + Chase is too good.
2. Bijan. Won people titles. Algiers gone next year?
3. CMC. Another year of i dont want to draft him but if he's healthy I will be real happy.
4. JT. Colts have the line and he is elite.
5. Puka/Gibbs. If Stafford comes back Puka. He got people to the championship game. If stafford retires Gibbs.

How did your team(s) do this year?
1st, 2nd and 3rd. Should have been 2 1st place finishes but league vetoed a trade i had for Bijan because it made my team stronger this year while making another guys stronger next year (keeper league).
What was your best draft pick?
Pickens. In all 3 leagues. Got me to the playoffs.
What was your best mid-season move?
Michael Wilson.

Worst move: anything QB related. I had terrible luck

I'll start with my worst team

10-team league full-PPR had the 10th pick

took Nabers at #10 and BTj at #11

missed the playoffs -- no chance with those 2 draft picks -- the team could not be saved

my best regular season team was

Gibbs (1st) Taylor (2nd) Cook (3rd) plus Pickens (5th)

made it to the finals...but lost as 3 of the 4 had a quiet weekend

my best championship team I listed in the other thread

the key there was drafting the right WR's in the late 3rd / early 4th round cluster of WR's

it was the Evans, McConkey, JSN, Harrison, McLaurin, Higgins group

I took JSN...and he turned out to be the right choice

my other title team was a Derrick Henry-special

12-team league non-PPR

1st -- Henry
2nd -- Josh Allen
3rd -- Kyren
4th -- Garrett Wilson
5th -- Jameson
6th -- Dobbins
7th -- Pittman
8th -- Rashee

won the title matchup by 10 points

would have been a blowout the other way if Henry had an average to above average game -- instead of 45 points

BTJ and AJ Brown really did a number on people. You felt like they were must starts and they lost people weeks.

several more comments on 2025...

-- David Montgomery finished as RB26 (as Gibbs stayed healthy all season). Had hoped for more from a 5th / 6th round pick

-- Bucky Irving finished as RB37 in total scoring...and RB20 in scoring per game. He was a big 2nd round disappointment. Maybe it was the injury. Hopefully there are changes in Tampa

-- Egbuka was one of the players to get on and then get off. Great the first month...and unplayable in the second half

-- Xavier Worthy was a huge bust. 5th round pick who finished WR55 despite being in a great situation. He's just not a very good receiver (real or fantasy)

-- Courtland Sutton provided great value this year. Late 4th / 5th round pick who finished WR9 in half-PPR. Sometimes drafting good solid players is the way to go...instead of always chasing upside

Don't disrespect JSN…he should absolutely be in this top-tier conversation.

Best move was sticking with Chase Brown. He ended the season in a big way and brought me a ship home in one of my big leagues.

Second best move was Micheal Wilson. He was a stud down the stretch.

Worst move was not holding onto Traveon Henderson. I dropped him the week before he became relevant.

& BTJ burned me in numerous leagues.

Was 1 and done in the playoffs

best pick was JSN in the 4th....overall my draft was trash

best pick up was Stafford after Burrow went down

I picked 10th from a 12 teamer, and tried the zero RB approach. I went Nabers (ouch), London (great for a while then ouch), McLaurin (ouch), JSN (great), RJ Harvey (took awhile), Burrow (ouch)

How did your team(s) do this year?
My dynasty league team finished 8-6 and got bounced in the first-round of the playoffs, but I did run my playoff streak to 5-for-5 since the league started. I lost Burrow, Mike Evans, James Connor, and Bucky Irving to extended time injuries.

My ESPN buddy league team, now in its 23rd year, finished 6-7, but won the consolation title, which as you know, is super important.

What was your best draft pick?
I had the #1 pick in the ESPN league for the first time in 13 years, drafted Chase, then had to watch him suffer for a couple of months during the Burrow injury. Before the injury, my best draft picked was easily Skattebo, who averaged 17.4 points in the 6 weeks before the injury. I drafted him in the 9th round.

In the dynasty league, it's just rookies that get drafted. I took Tyler Warren with the 5th pick of the first round and he paid off all year until Danny Dimes got hurt. His use as a short-yardage rusher is exciting with his whole career in front of him.

What was your best mid-season move?
Not very sexy in ESPN, but I added Jason Meyers the kicker on November 5 just before he started a 3 week rampage of 19, 14, and 24 points.

In keeper league, I traded away Travis Kelce, one of my remaining OGs from the first draft, for Deebo Samuel Kelce scored only 1 TD the last 5 weeks of the year, was held to 1.3 vs. the Texans and 1.1 vs the Titans, and is now considering retirement.

You are right. JSN would be a reasonable 4th or 5th pick option.

I'll start with my worse team

Finished the regular season 9th and ended up 11th in our loser bracket. Daniels pretty much sunk us.

The best pick was probably Jaylen Warren in the 9th... pretty slim pickings

My only mid-season moves that mattered were trading Henry and Pittman for some picks next season

My better team was 2nd in the regular season and lost in the championship because we ran into Henry and Purdy

My first 3 picks went as well as you could hope for: CMC, Nacua and McBride (9th pick in a 10-team). The best picks were probably Etienne and Maye in the 10th and 11th

Adding Dowdle and Watson were the only big moves in-season

How did your team(s) do this year? 3rd place, 10-team half PPR. I limped into the playoffs despite being second-highest in total points. After losing weeks 11-13 by 1 to 2 points each, I had league-high points in week 14 to make the playoffs (I also had to have someone else lose) and 15 (first round). Unfortunately I then ran into Derrick Henry, literal league-winner.

What was your best draft pick? Probably McBride for $26 ($200 auction draft, second-most expensive TE behind Bowers). Puka for $46 (sixth-highest WR) was a bargain too.

What was your best mid-season move? Michael Wilson. I'd drafted Marvin Harrison Jr., who was mostly disappointing, but I couldn't quite bring myself to drop him. As soon as I got the alert that he was ruled out (so I could stash him in IR), I grabbed Wilson. Kinda lucky nobody beat me to him on waivers.

Worst move: Drafting longhorn rookies... apparently them looking good against us doesn't mean they're actually good NFL players! Ended up dropping both Jaydon Blue and Matthew Golden... at least I didn't spend much on them.

note to self...

after Fairbairn scores 26 fantasy points in week 18...

okay to use an 11th or 12th round pick on him

Justin Jefferson had a 100-yard receiving game today -- no TD of course

where to draft in him 2026...hmmn

maybe at the turn in 12-team leagues

Colston Loveland looking like an elite dynasty tight end asset.

I won our championship, a 10-team league, half PPR

First 3 picks were JaMarr, JT, and Chase Brown. Davante Adams and Kittle were 4, and 5.

Oh yeah, and I took Judkins #13, and he turned out to be great once he got going.

Best pickup was Mike Evans for the playoff run, and best in-season decision was to start Dak over Bo Nix most weeks.

He was weird though. Every time the "experts" said to start him, he boofed. And every time they said to sit him, he did pretty well.

12 team half-PPR. I finished 10th even with having the highest overall total season points by a healthy margin, so I still made out alright with the payout.

Best pick was maybe McBride in the 3rd round. Best mid-season move... lol Jason Myers I guess.
