I heard it on the ticket since they are getting the info timely vs having to wait on the marching band circus circle jerk that day 3 of the draft is now to entertain all the yahoos out there. Wasn't a prognostication so no credit taken

I'm surprised somebody hasn't taken a flier on Crownover as a swing tackle yet. Measurables are there. Potential is there.

I could be off but by my count, 22 TEs were drafted, which would be the most since 2002. I guess everyone wants to play 12 and 13 personnel these days. Jaguars, Dolphins, Ravens, Broncos, and Browns each selected two TEs in this draft.

That's very astute. I am no wizard with offensive schemes and play calling but the last couple of years I have been a huge proponent that the TE position is extremely underutilized. It's a complete game changer.

In fact, If I was smart enough, I would scheme a 4 TE wideout set, push the small corners and safeties to the hash marks and dump the rock to a blockbuster speedster.

I also must admit that I am mostly regurgitating what I hear on the fantasy football YouTube videos I watch. That being said, my understanding is that the multiple TE formations are being used to help the running game and counter the 2-high safeties being used by defenses to protect against the deep pass.

Love it. Now if we could only modernize the wishbone and I-formation. I would love to see the Fullbacks comeback.
