only reason I wouldnt call the foul is because he has his hands down and only leans a litte, in that he didnt just jump through the ghanan. He actually jumped away from him to head the ball

Our defender clearly was going for the ball, reached it first, and it shouldn't have been a foul. This is similar to a WR going up for an underthrown ball. It was not like our guy pushed him down or off.

This team (and coach) needs to let it all hang out offensively and attack to the final whistle.

The formation is fine. If our outside mids were renamed defensive forwards in 4-3-3 would that make everybody feel better? Because that's what the guys are playing essentially.

We've played okay. We've had some good chances, especially on headers. With a little luck and decent officiating we can get back into this.

Nothing we can do about the speedy Ghana counters. We started the game down a goal essentially. You're going to be susceptible to those all game long. Just have to depend on fullbacks. Can't panic and drop everybody back everytime.

That said, both Ghana goals were atrocious. Reyna's giveup was pathetic. He had Keller available and 3 other Americans on left side. And he's dribbling the ball like he's in a Snickers commercial? Really dumb.

Same with Boca. What the hell are you doing? That was equally dumb and completely unskillful. And the refs call was total crap. Unbelievably weak officiating.

I do suspect that we are LONG OVERDUE on officiating call. How about red card on Ghana or makeup PK.
