Step 7 had a nice Gible encounter. My first Gible!
Was in Corpus Christi for 24 hours and managed to get a Heracross. Only saw one spawn. I was hoping to get a few but I'm happy.
GBL is so frustrating. Changed my lead to Lapras...first two Pokmon I see in leads are Alolan Raichu. Changed my lead to Toxicroak, first lead I'm faced with is tropius. Can't make this up.
I agree. Aggravating! I switch Machamp and Whiscash as leads only to receive the perfect counter with each switch.
Been happening to me quite a bit. Random leads lead to perfect counters. I hate blind leads.
It's also annoying that your opponent is attacking before you know their type. The "fix" of adding the type didn't fix a damn thing.

Finally got back to three wins after 5-6 sets of 2-3 or 1-4. Got a metagross to complete the research.
Tonight's Bronzor spotlight hour will count for the "Catch a Steel Type" quest that myself and 90% of the rest of the world seem to be stuck on.

They definitely have something going on with the matchmaking algorithm depending on your team. I swapped in a Jirachi today bc I wanted to goof around. I started seeing way more Haunters, A-Waks, other Jirachis, and fairies. Just weird since I normally haven't seen those a lot before today.
Looks like GoFest is finally global, but few details other than dates so far. The in game announcement telling you to go to the blog for more info takes you to the exact same announcement, but that one points to the niantic blog and yet another announcement with no details.
Did a 5* raid for whatever new Legendary is out with both of my accounts. Used a remote pass. With 70 seconds left before start, my alt account's game crashed. Got back with 30 seconds left, but the raid wouldn't let me rejoin the room (there were only 10 people in the raid), and as an added bonus, the game ate my remote raid pass. Tried to contact Niantic, but they make you go through hoops just to send them a message. I'm going to request either a new raid pass or the legendary.
They'll give you the coins for the riad pass most likely.
They'll definitely credit you the pass or the coins. I complained about a similar thing in the past and they reimbursed me.
I'm ready for UL to come back in a few days. What teams are y'all bringing?

Venusaur (no CD move sadly), A-Muk, Scizor. Might swap in Clefable depending on what I see. A-Muk is a monster, though.
Went 10-0 today to break into rank 8 with Azu, A-Wak, Jirachi. I've seen some weird 'mons in GL lately like Magcargo, Sudowoodo, Froslass, Bellossom, Escavalier, and Abomasnow. Dunno what I did to the algorithm but I'll take it. Maybe most of the serious players have gotten out of rank 7 and 8.

Supposedly it's a very good fire type attacker for raiding if you guys need one of those.

Fixes the Go Battle League NEEDS:
- CMP tie...this is absolute garbage. If I throw a move to eliminate a Pokemon, they get a move off at the same time as me, so they get priority, I shouldn't be forced to throw my move still. There are so many situations I throw a charge move to eliminate an opponent, they get theirs off, and I waste my energy trying to avoid damage I can't avoid.
- The charge move tap glitch...any time I try to use a play rough on my Azumarill, I cannot get it off until I have built up more energy past hydro pump. This has only happened for me this season oddly enough.
- Blind leads...it would be so much better if we could see a party of 6 and then the opponent only use 3. It would make things so much easier.
- Finally, if you shield a move that impacts your stats, the debuff shouldn't still detract from your stats...what is the purpose of a shield if you still get hammered while using it?
When someone switches, a new three second countdown should happen. Rather than getting hit a couple times before you know what opponent appears.

If you completed the 4 research weeks, you will get this new one for free. You can still buy the ticket, but that would give you candies in place of the actual encounters.
