Went on a hot streak in battles tonight. Jumped from about 2000 to 2200. Didn't have a losing set and had a couple of for win ones.

Total opposite over last few days. Same Squad that got me up to 2250 now down to 2050.
Well, I've had a lot of mixed luck tonight. Back down to 2190. Had several matches where it came down to the "overtap" bug screwing me in getting off charges or not being able to switch fast enough. Oh well.
My last match came down to the wire. I got a scizor lead against my clefable (**** me...). I immediately switched to charizard and got a couple of hits in, but took a night slash. He put out a swampert, because of course. I hit it with a blast burn, which does surprising damage. Then I forced him to burn shields while he did the same until I could switch to giratina. I managed to bring his swampert down to almost dead before he pulled it and put scizor back in. Somehow, I managed to beat it, with maybe 1-2HP left. Then he put out melmetal. I put on charizard and got in some hits. As I hit blast burn, of course he beats me to hit and knocks me out with rock slide. I was pissed. Clefable goes in and charms the **** out of him. I'm in the red and he's in the yellow after a rock slide, and he throws in swampert. I knock him out with a couple of charms, hoping like hell he doesn't power up a charge move. Luckily he can't, and melmetal comes back. I hit him with the meteor mash if been sitting on, do a surprising amount of damage, and start thinking I could win this thing. Three charms later, he's down and I have the smallest sliver of health.

I officially hate Niantic and their crappy PVP system. Just lost a match because they allowed a switch in the middle of a CMP tie that the opponent won. No camera swivel, nothing. Just took a meteor mash, followed by an earthquake falling short on a Gyarados.

Something interesting has been happening a lot more lately. I charge up and release a charge move that should be a great type effectiveness. For example, a fireon a metagross is charged and ready to be released. I hit the button, I charge it, and it is released on...a Vaporeon. Magically, a Vaporeon is switched in without any notification.

There are guides that say for this mon, and this quick move, and this charge move, it takes # turns to charge up. For most mon, a person is going to have the same moves as everyone else. So yeah, there are people who can make an educated guess as to how many quick moves to take, then switch just before the charge move starts.
Some players will definitely count fast moves and know when to swap. It's something to be ready for, so sometimes you gotta over-charge moves and hopefully throw off their count.
And this makes sense, we all do it. But to allow a switch in the middle of a turn/CMP tie is egregious.

This is definitely what happens, but if a switch happens on an opponent's charged move turn, it should prompt for a continuation of the move or a switch and resync the battle. Basically, "_____ sent out _____! Switch?"
Since the battle is turn based, you or your opponent should know what your opponent or you are doing before committing for your turn. With turns of .5 seconds, that isn't possible.
Also, I got pissed that in a mirror match, my opponent hit yellow before I did and used a charge while I did not. Logic says he could have been knocked out before I was because a) me was front health faster and b) used a turn on a charge. I got knocked out first. This blind, turn based bull**** needs to be fixed.

Just battled Jesse and James. They're in the meowth balloon. Not much different than battling regular grunts. You do get 2 different rocket encounters and 2 components.
Scored a 100% shieldon as a battle reward. Lucky i decided to check it because I usually toss them.
Went 1-4 in GBL and was pissed with matchups. Switched my mamoswine out for charizard and went 5-0. I kept seeing tons of steel types, and he murdered them all.
Is it just me, or is the switch menu in gbl broken? I swear, they time I try to switch, I have to pick a mon multiple times.
Anytime i don't have to reopen the game after a crash, I consider it a win
Also, kept seeing f'ing magnezone every time I used my charizard as lead. Switch to blaziken and immediately get swampert and metagross. Lead him for three sets and not one magnezone in any lineup. Switch him out and what is my first ****ing opponent lead?

I wish there was some kind of appeals process or some kind of mechanism to counter abuse. I feel like the ingress a-holes and others are just playing a stupid turf war with rejections sometimes.
