Weird they gave the order to the urban address before the rural one. Something that has bothered me about starlink is that there seems to be a number of people trying out the service even though they have access to cable/fiber internet. Takes away from folks that legitimately have no choice for internet or terrible internet. (suddenlink doesn't count as terrible since you can get 1 gig speeds).

I'm with you. I have DSL and Viasat and it sucks.

I've been noticing an uptick in Texas orders fulfilled on the Reddit starlink thread lately. Anyone on here get the order or have an updated timeframe?

Still Mid-2022 for me. Feb 8 pre order just waiting...

Early to mid 2022 just outside College Station for mine that I forgot to mention.

I put my pre-order in on Feb 8, 2021. Originally gave me a mid to late 2021 date, but got pushed back to March 2022. Hopefully it doesn't get pushed back again. I'm just outside College Station also.

Expected service date in Hallettsville area is now February 2022.

Mid 2022 between Snook and College Station on the Brazos County side. Signed up for Beta and Preorder on day 1. Thinking 5G may make it here before Starlink now. Wonder if the mid-band stuff will have better latency that Starlink? Getting about 40-50 ping on LTE now.

Neighbor got his yesterday and set it up last night. Said it was super easy to set up and was getting 50-200Mbs but hadn't really dialed it in yet.

He said there's no way to hook a router to it natively to expand the network and you have to buy an adapter through them that is backordered and you cant order it until you place your Starlink order for the equipment. I haven't researched to see if there are after market alternatives for that but I imagine there would be.

This is the first real life experience with it I've got and it makes me more excited for when I get selected....someday.

February 8th Order with a Mid-2022 estimate now.

Ordered mine last February for our mountain cabin in TN. They moved the date to summer of this year a couple of months ago. In the meantime, fiber-optic was run up our mountain and we have it. Not sure if I will go ahead and take the starlink dish as well for backup purposes since our fiber line is on electric poles.

Ordered last February.
Got my email yesterday.
Shipped today.
Suppose to receive on Monday.

That's still really good upload speeds for starlink from what I've seen. I just checked and it now says late 2022 for my area instead of early/mid 2022

Run this on the 1080P game stream setting and let us know how it does. My fingers are crossed!! My cell based modem seems to have a good ping on SpeedTest.net, but does pretty bad on a packet test.

I was hoping for better, but at least it is not worse than what I have and should continue to get better.

Just for reference, here is my cell phone based hotspot and then my terrible fixed wireless from Rise Broadband. Rise actually works well for normal internet use and streaming. It just really sucks for gaming.

Premium is a big premium for not much better service. Guess Elon needs more money. Hope these don't make us wait longer for the regular version.

I literally was about to click purchase with all my info entered because the extra bandwidth and latency numbers would be helpful to me. I was going to pay the $2500 equipment cost but then at the last second I saw $500/month and closed the window. Clearly aimed at small businesses.

Entered my address and it said Q2 2022 which is earlier than the normal starlink of late 2022

Sorry actually my latest revised date was January and not March. I got it set up in about 10 minutes and I have to say it is awesome. Getting 150-190 Mbps pretty consistent. What I had access to before was only 3-4 Mbps so its a huge upgrade. I don't even get great cell reception were I'm at. I'm only a few miles out of town, but its like the Bermuda Triangle at my house.

Ordered mine Feb 10 of last year. I was pushed to "Mid 22" in December. I'm in western Washington Co, but I've heard of two other folks in the area that got theirs last week. I'm hoping it's coming sooner.
