It's a SanDisk 128gb card. I bought it this morning and installed it in a new (to me) camera. I went through the process the camera required to format the card and it said I was good to go. Throughout the day I took some photos around the house trying out the new camera. I transferred that card several times to my pc and it worked just fine. I returned from my last shooting trip where I took some great shots of my daughter posing for soccer photos. I put the card into the pc and was viewing the photos and as I reached the last few shots, a notification popped up saying the card was corrupted and needed to be formatted. I could read the file number for each pic, but when I clicked on one to open in, I got the same corrupt/re-format prompt.
When I put the card back into the camera it said there was a card error that required re-formatting. I tried installing the Stellar version, but didn't know if it was for real or not. I got through downloading it and it wanted me to make a purchase. I was in the middle of cooking supper and getting kids settled for the night and haven't messed with it. There's only a half dozen pics I'd like back, but I can re-create them later if need be. They were good ones, though.
I do appreciate your wise councel!
