I only care that it is a cool game and only on the Xbox platform until sometime in Spring of 2025. I don't want to wait nor do I want to buy an xbox right now just because I want the game! ( I am a huge Indiana Jones fan..so therefore I want the collector's edition that comes with the game, journal, globe...etc for $189).

I'm hoping this game is somewhat comparable to Uncharted on PlayStation, which was my personal favorite story mode game. Kind of wish it was third person though. I'll probably download and play some this weekend.

There are Uncharted elements in what I've done so far: finding little treasures, puzzles, climbing (albeit slow), stealth and brawling.

Honestly, I love the Indy element, but it makes me wish I was playing a new Uncharted game.

I'm around 4 hours in... Really great so far. It's definitely a slower game, but it's 100% Indiana Jones.

Everything feels movie perfect. I got a good laugh when I picked up a bell and clocked a bad guy with it... *Ding*.

The dialogue is also spot on.

Her: What are you doing here?
Indy: I'm looking for a Cat
Her: A Cat?
Indy: A Mummy
Her: Which is it, a mummy or a cat?
Indy: It's a mummy cat!

Just finished the game tonight. Great game. I probably put 30 hours into it. It is amazing how they were able to capture the mannerisms and voice of a young Harrison Ford. The plot, characters and dialogue of this game is all movie worthy. Far better than either of the last two movies. I thought the ending was really good and worth the time to get there. I definitely did not see the plot twist coming. They did a phenomenal job making all of the side quests actually serve and advance the plot so you want to complete them all. The open world areas were large enough, but not overwhelming like some other games I've played recently (Far Cry). The stealth, combat, and exploration and puzzle solving all work well.

I hope the sequel is already in development, although it will be tough to replicate the quality of this game.

They're paying all this money for an Indiana Jones license and you end up playing from the perspective where the Indiana Jones you primarily see is his hands. When you're trying to build a strong central character you design it for third person. When you're trying to allow the player to create their own character you go first person. Indiana Jones is a strong central character, it should be third person.

First-person is a PC-centric design decision. There's a reason why Playstation first-party games are almost universally third-person (I can't think of any that aren't). There's a reason Nintendo games are almost universally third-person (I can't think of any recent ones that aren't), and there's a reason why Microsoft almost universally make first-person games (Gears being the exception?).

Just finished the game. First person works great. There are plenty of third person elements to the game and a lot of cutscenes, and also a lot of Indiana Jones dialogue when you're in first person. Character development doesnt suffer. I think they nailed it.

Just started playing this one last night. Think it is going to be a good game.

Just found a redemption code to get this game for free that came with my computer when I bought it. Totally forgot about it and it expired.

Dumbass.

I don't understand why we can't have both. If the expected play style is 3rd person, give us the option to play 1st person and vice versa.

I can understand if it's a multiplayer game and 1st or 3rd person perspective provides an edge or ruins the game balance, but for single player games, give us both.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an example where I would have loved to be able to switch between 1st (the only option) and 3rd person perspective. I prefer 1st, especially when fighting, but 3rd is nice for cruising around town.

Picked this up on PS5. I'm not really into Indiana Jones but I am enjoying the game quite a bit. It is beautiful and I don't mind the first person POV. Have been wandering around Vatican City for a good 3 hours and am not bored with it

I really like this game but I am really upset with it right now. I'm on the last level have 100% all other levels and a door i have to go through is glitched. It won't let me go through it to complete the last level of the game. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think they recently patched the game to fix this glitch

I'm playing pn the ps5. So maybe missed the patch with my download. Will have to look and see if I can get it to update. I'm worried I'll have to redo the whole game.
