A TV show by Japanese that use actual historical characters is different than a video game developer using a vaguely historical figure, then made some stuff up trying to pass it off as historical fact.
Let's just gloss over the fact that every AC game up to this point you played as a native to the regions, until now...
But yes I'm the racist for having a problem with them pandering and not using an actual Japanese man for their protagonist.
