We want to ditch Quickbooks, they are discontinuing desktop and going to all cloud based and do not offer a "contractor" version anymore. Do you have any contractor software you recommend? We need payroll, AIA billing etc, online would be better that local for us. Company is less than 100 employees.

I hate the QB did this. Try WaveApps not sure how it is on the contractor side, but a lot of people I know are moving to it rather than stay with QB.

I do the accounting for a commercial roofing/waterproofing contractor. We've been using Deltek Computerease for the last few years.

We do a yearly agreement, we pay about $85/month/concurrent user and $2,000/year for support. But we do host it on site. I'm not sure how the pricing works if you use the cloud service.

My dad has used Peachtree forever. He uses it for estimating, accounting, billing, pretty much everything.
