Reading about the possible use of burner phones by the burnt orange low life coaching…

I could make use of a burner phone in my court case trying to get full custody. Without going into details, if anyone is interested in enlightening me your input is certainly appreciated.

Needs:
1. As absolutely untraceable as possible. Even if her attorney gets a search warrant, it is very, very unlikely to do them any good? (I suspect that the ex's boyfriend is dealing drugs and the police don't seem to be interested so I thought I could try to form a sting that would not get me in trouble)
2. If my regular phone rates were subpoenas, there would have to be absolutely no link to the burner phone number.
3. I suppose it would be stupid to purchase this phone anywhere near where I live (I know this may sound paranoid, but I don't care).
4. so can I both buy a cheap phone that has access to the Internet through data and a Sim card card at the same time? I guess my idea is paying cash for the inexpensive phone and the Sim card at the same time utilizing prepaid minutes.
5. would Walmart be the place to go or do I need to go to some convenience store that sells CBC products along with it lol
6. I would most definitely like to be able to receive verification text using the equipment I have.
7. I really don't wanna waste time discussing exactly why I have this plan and right or wrong. I suspect 80% of input into this thread with involve curiosity.

I apologize in advance if this seems too demanding, I just know some people will naturally out of curiosity want to hold a conversation that I don't have patience for.

From what I gather, it's quite detailed. Some prepaid cards will not allow to buy SIM cards with cash in the USA. I can understand the national security aspect. It's probably just not worth it and I need to hire a private investigator.

Maybe they will take a prepaid visa card?

Is anyone here willing to accept a collect call from a

From what I understand, WalMart will want you to activate the phone yourself, but then it won't be anonymous.

Instead, you want WalMart to activate the phone.

One possibility is to have the burner phone but not use the number to receive or place calls.

Instead, set up an anonymous account on Google and get a Google Voice number from them and use the app to connect that to your phone. I have no idea if this does much since the calls on the Voice number will still connect through on the burner phone so they can probably get that number if they push hard enough.

In search of privacy, some people will use an internet telephone number and not have a SIM card at all in the cell phone. This would require you to use wifi to send and receive calls.

By the way, the FBI used to be in the encrypted phone business for criminals to use.

For what it's worth, even though so many people desire privacy, few seem interested enough to actually do much about it.

Look at how many encrypt their e-mails.

In the last ten years, I think that I've only received two e-mails from others encrypted with PGP.

If you are interested in e-mail security, services such as ProtonMail are head and shoulders above most providers. With ProtonMail, there is also SimpleLogin with which you can give each person a different e-mail address that goes back to your e-mail address without divulging your e-mail address.

That is how my e-mail address in the signature is handled. If it starts getting spammed, then I can simply delete the address on SimpleLogin, create a new address for TexAgs use, and edit the signature on TexAgs.

SimpleLogin does not have to be used with ProtonMail. You can also use it to set up aliases for other accounts as well.

Another service that might be useful is "Silent Circle". That was the company that had the "BlackPhone" if you remember that.

If people were really serous about privacy and security why would they not take advantage of all the security offerings available. Instead, they seem more interested in posting their entire lives on Facebook and the like.

FWIW, I have a Facebook account, but under an assumed name. Before selecting I googled it and could only find a record of one person with that name who passed away nearly a century ago.

One last thing.

Isn't a burner phone generally a phone with a set amount of minutes and those minutes are never increased? If you have a phone plan and have to add minutes, it would seem difficult to add minutes without leaving a trace. When you run out of minutes, get another burner phone.
