I went ahead and rerolled a Ranger. The warrior was not having any issues, and my build completely wrecked bosses. However, it wasn't very fast, so clearing trash mobs was very slow, which made me think mapping would be a slog.

Got to end game, ran a bunch of maps. Looks like it gets repetitive pretty quickly. Might be done for now, unless I am missing something. Interestingly, playing so much POE2 kinda makes me want to give D4 another shot

I was but took a break to play the new D4 season.
Looking forward to what they do with the endgame. I do have an issue with the amount of RNG for endgame pushing. For someone who doesn't like to mess with trading, it's nearly impossible to craft a good item. In my nearly 50 hours of playing, I think i've crafted a single item worth using. That is bad.
I have no problem with the RNG element, but they need to give us the ability to direct the RNG a little better towards what we are looking for. Right now, all i'm doing is farming maps to get currency to buy off the Trade site... that's not why I play ARPGs. I would like it rebalanced to where it's at least 50/50, gear I find vs gear I buy.
Depends what you mean by quickly. I'm just over 20 hours in and not finished with the season journey yet. Also, the battle pass, or whatever it's called, takes a while to complete.AtlAg05 said:
The problem for D4 is, that the season can be completed really quickly. Then there's nothing left to do
I've been playing the new league with the Huntress. I don't understand all the *****ing and moaning. Are there some balancing issues and some things they could fix? Absolutely. But I think some people expect this to be D4 or even POE, and that's just not the direction the Devs are going going. They want this game to be more methodical and harder. You actually need to learn the boss moves and avoid them.BowSowy said:
Anyone jump in to try the new league? I was busy yesterday, but it sounds like it's a complete dumpster fire
