Wanted to see

A) If anyone is excited about these new Tarkir precons

B) What commanders the TexAgs community runs for EDH

I play Arena quit a bit. Mostly standard with my janky home brews. Usually find a card I like and try to build around it. Currently rocking a sweet deck built around discard and monument to endurance.

I don't play, I just have all my old cards from mid 90s and watch a lot of YouTube vids on the new stuff

Used to but haven't had the time to spend for attending FNM and keeping up with the avalanche of new releases the last couple of years. Last release I bought was Dom U, and then snagged a few of the Foundations Jumpstart boosters for fun several months ago. Hopeful to start cranking back up by fall and playing again.

Not a fan of all the Universes Beyond BS but may snag a Tarkir collector display for ishts and giggles. Haven't bought a pre-con since Warhammer. Played exclusively EDH because that's what everyone played on Friday nights but wouldn't mind finding a group for Modern, Pioneer, Standard, or whatever.

Long ago. Gave up chasing the meta and am much better for it. Actually reminds me I have a chunk of cards I need to send off and get evaluated for sale.


For reference I stopped playing after the Urza block.

Oh I don't blame you one bit there, I don't particularly concern myself with the meta. Moreso I just like playing funky cards with my friends. I've been running this Volrath, the Shapestealer deck that I've been having a blast with just making copies of everything and pissing everyone off by coupling it with infect.

I played many years ago….started going through my old cards a ways back and discovered I have one worth about $300 - $500 so that was cool…..but yeah haven't played in a LOOOOOOOOONG time…..

If I ever get the time to itemize what the general worth of my cards are I'll try and sell them….

If y'all are truly looking to get rid of your cards, I have a buddy that goes around to card conventions selling his own extra cards, and bags and sleeves and such. I could ask if he'd be interested in selling y'all's for you so long as you don't mind cutting him in.

Pretty much the same. I buy a few packs here and there, but I'm an old school magic guy.

there are just way too many rules now.

Crazy to think that the powerhouses from back in the day (Shivan dragon) are considered super weak now. You would have happily traded your dual lands for that.

Actually, the one thing I never traded away was my dual lands. Still have 4 of each (even if they are in crappy condition)

But yeah, Ive seen some of the stuff these days. crazy.

I played a lot of Arena over the past few years but took a break during this last set. Tarkir looks great, but I'm not sure I'm ready to come back yet. Before Kamigawa (the recent one), I played back in Zendikar and before that I started in middle school/high school during the original and Ice Age sets.

I am ready to drop a ton of money on the Final Fantasy set so I can then turn around, pick up my pitchfork, and be as upset as everyone else on these crossovers.
