The disparity between the system requirements for the original compared to whatever this one will require 30 years later will be insane. That's assuming it ever comes out.

Half Life 3 vs Mass Effect 4 / Andromeda 2... not sure which will actually come first, if any of them at all.

Playing through Half-Life 1 is still one of my fondest video game memories. Is "Surface Tension" the greatest video game level of all time (relative to it's era)? I think it has a case.

I'd like to see them do a tongue-in-cheek announcement for Half Life 2, Episode 2, Part 2 if this actually comes to fruition

I started playing HL2 again once they sent the update to support widescreen. Just never finished. But if HL3 is announced, I'm playing them all again. Including Blue Shift and Opposing Force.

Reading this thread got me thinking about the Orange Box. Is the Orange Box the best value in gaming history? Getting HL2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal all for whatever I may have paid for it? That's an insane mix of games to get for the small price of the Orange Box, back then.

I still have my orange box, but don't have an optical drive to run it with. Good thing it came with steam back in the day.

Ended up playing this and finishing it about a month ago. Fantastic game and for anyone that wants a Half-Life fix I could argue it's better than the original simply because the Xen levels in Black Mesa blow the original out of the water.
