Looking for some new computers for our office and the IT company we use isn't helpful because we don't want to pay them a 30% mark up on computers.

We're needing two types- standard desktop for office work and a desktop that can run Autocad.

Any one have any suggestions on what type of Dell computers I need to be looking at?

Not as worried about the office work, I'm sure pretty much any desktop the offer can handle that but not really sure what I need to be focusing on for the Autocad.

What are doing in autocad? And is it plain autocad or are you using other tools like civil3d, revit, etc?

Also try to get in touch with an inside sales rep at dell. They can usually come down from the website prices if you buy a few systems.

Those naming conventions are gone. There's still stock of them (dwindling fast), but moving forward its Dell Pro, Pro+, Pro Max, etc. And if you need discreet graphics for AutoCad, you are kinda SOL until July 17th when Nvidia releases the new cards (assuming the date doesn't get pushed again).
