Go to mail.yahoo.com and sign in.

Click on your profile picture or initial in the top right corner.

Select "Manage Your Account".

Navigate to "Privacy Controls" and then "Automated Email Analysis".

Turn off the toggle for "Use information from your emails to enable Smart Features". This setting disables AI summaries and other related features.

If the option isn't visible, you can also try switching to the classic Yahoo Mail version by clicking the Settings gear (top right), selecting "More Settings," and then clicking "Switch to Basic Mail".

On the Yahoo Mail Mobile App (Android):

Open the Yahoo Mail app.

Tap your profile icon in the top left corner.

Select "Settings."

Scroll down and tap "Summaries."

Toggle off the options for "Show summaries instead of subject lines" and "Show summaries at the top of messages".
