I had a GP 8 or 9. While I liked both the video quality and the form factor, if you will, I hated the fact that it was like disassembling a car engine to get to the SD card. Heaven forbid you had additional mods (I had most of them -- light, media, etc.). The upload of videos to the GP site (additional cost) didn't work because it was app based. It had several limitations, though I don't recall all of them. I finally sold the system after about 2 years and went back to a 3 tier approach: my fairly recent iPhone Pro, an early generation Pocket Osmo, and my Panasonic GH4 when needed. I will probably upgrade the DJI at some point, perhaps next summer. I don't really have the need for a waterproof solution.
I would recommend getting your hands on one of these and figuring out prior to purchase whether what's required of your workflow will be something you'll dread.
