I'm old and don't have a lot of time but enjoy picking up the controller from time to time. I have enjoyed the Dragon Age series, Witcher series, Star Wars, Assasins Creed...etc. I'm not going to play on nightmare mode, I enjoy a good storyline that really bring you in to the charater and world. If it gets too hard, I give up as I just don't have the patience, time, and honeslty the skill What do yall recommend?

Clair Obscur? Incredible story and music. Not sure if combat is hard if played on easy/story mode. I play on hard.

I agree with this, and I'm even older (I play on regular).
I assume you did DA veil guard, that was solid.

If a Potter fan, what about Hogwarts Legacy.

Did cyberpunk ever get fixed for console? Experience on PC is amazing now and expansion is great.

Another one for this. Clair Obscur rightly deserves to be GOTY in my opinion. Indy Great Circle maybe is another good pickup. Hogwarts is good fun.

Fairly certain it's fixed, across the board. Obviously, PC will provide the best experience if it's powerful.

Definitely +1 to this recommendation. If you like RPG's, Cyberpunk is a top 5 RPG of all time, imo. The world is absolutely immersive, the gameplay loop just never seemed to get old for me, and the main game quests/missions are all fantastic.

Then they went and overhauled all the skill trees as well as so much more of the game, along with releasing the DLC... and made the game 10x better.

If you have not played Cyberpunk 2077, then play it.

It's fixed. I just finished it on PC a month or so ago. It's fantastic.

I haven't played the DLC yet.

I will say another good game that I'm really enjoying right now is Far Cry Primal. It's on GamePass. A little different than these other suggestions.

I don't see how you can play Cyberpunk without playing the DLC. Did you just not purchase it? The DLC story kind of interrupts the main campaign about 40-50% through.

The DLC story is.... *Chef's Kiss*. When you finally get tot he DLC's title card, tell me that isn't gaming at its peak.

I did not. Its expensive for DLC and at the time I purchased the original game I wasn't 100% sure all issues were fixed.

I'll definitely go back and get it though. Will likely just wait until it goes on sale.

Gotcha!

100% worth the purchase, but definitely understand waiting on a Steam sale. Probably get something for the Winter Sale.

Your games and preferences seems similar to mine.

-- Indiana Jones and the great circle was fun. Good story and good gameplay that improves across the game in my opinion. It started a little slow.

-- I highly recommend Control. This became one of my favorite games and is frequently on sale for cheap.

-- you may also like to go back and play through the Halo series if you missed any or haven't played in a long time.

Played Control on GamePass and abandoned it. Didn't pull me in for some reason. I can see why it did others though. Maybe I should have played it a bit more.

Thanks yall, I'm a couple of hours into Clair Obscur and based on my speed, it will likely take a few months or more to get through, but that's ok. So far so good. I'll come back to this thread and check out a few of the others when I finish.

Control was a little slow at the beginning, but I liked the vibe of the game. You should play at least until you gain telekinetic abilities. That's when it gets good. There is a late game mission/sequence that is one of my all-time favorites.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The Outer Worlds
Pentiment
A Plague Tale: Innocence
If you want to try something totally new, I can recommend playing slot games. I tried them not that long ago myself, and it turned out to be something really entertaining. Here is the site https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-spins-no-deposit/for-existing-players where you can find out about casinos that offer free spins for already existing players, as well as for new ones, and I think there will be something useful. The two last casinos I've been playing in, I found on that site too.

The Star Wars Jedi series is definitely a good time. The Outer Worlds put me to sleep.

I thought The Outer Worlds was a soulless, boring game. I quit playing it after a few hours.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle was a lot of fun. It was my first game to play after being on a video game hiatus for 14 years.

I've also enjoyed RDR2, if you haven't ever played it. Even if you have, it's worth a replay, or two, or three.

The Quarry is fun for Halloween, though it's a little slow and tedious at times. It's an interesting game with decent voice acting and story.
