That was my first thought. It literally looks like original Metroid Prime with rounder edges and smoother textures.

The reviews are out! 81 average on Metacritic with 76 reviews. Most of the reviews are positive, but it is a lower score than most Metroid games.

Today is the day.

Pay $30 for an amiibo, if you want music in the game while riding the motorcycle. It's like removing the halo sound track from halo and making you pay $30 for it.

The game looks great in 4K on my OLED TV! LOL at the people who think it looks like a GameCube or Wii game!

Call me old but I love that it's like classic Metroid Prime. That's what I want more of!

Got to the 2nd area. Definitely plays like the old Metroid Primes so nothing all that new, it was a good formula though. Makes me want to go and buy the remastered old games.

Game looks really good in 4K.

I had a leftover voucher so decided to redeem it for this.

It's okay, and I'm going to finish it. But wow, what a disappointment. This is the best Nintendo can come up with today, and on Switch 2?

This game looks like a GameCube game. The desert is lifeless, with the only things locked behind obvious item locks.

If this was the case, would've preferred a game where base camp is on board the ship and the levels take place on various planets or drop off / pick up locations. Maybe it'll get better but a big "meh" from me.

I have my issues with it but it doesn't look like a Gamecube game.
