Didn't realize this was going on with RAM. I feel bad for anyone wanting to build a PC now. I got mine built several months ago and only paid like $89 for 32GB of DDR5. Same kit is now on sale at MicroCenter for $329.

Right now it's cheaper to buy a prebuilt. Look at micro center. My BIL spend $2200 and got one with a 5080, ryzen 9800x3d and 32gb of ram

I bought my current one not quite a year ago. It came with a leftover i9 processor and a 4070 for like $1050 I think. Even has liquid cooling. Micro Center is awesome.

Holy moly I'm glad I built mine earlier this year. I got a 32GB set of DDR5 for $104.99 at the end of March. That same exact set is now $525.74. Unbelievable how much it has gone up.

Yep I got so lucky during thanksgiving week. They got a new shipment of 32 goCorsair vengeance DDR5 6000m CL36. Was able to get it for $250. I knew I should

Yeah I decided to save a bit now. I was going to go 5080 and 64GB of ram but doing a 9070XT and 32. Not coming out as low as I hoped but enough.
