Thanksgiving got me off track. Just got charged my 40% increase to MS 365 over last year.

Complete absurdity. Nothing has changed with the product suite to justify that.

Never leave auto renew on. Always turn it off and remove any payment method when buying/activating deals like this.

Yeah, I don't do auto renew for anything but this. Was probably misleading in my original post because I wouldn't have cancelled anyway. My wife needs it for her business. I no longer really need it and would go with the free open source Libre option, but she's not comfortable with that kind of change. However, if we take another large increase like this next year I'll have to force her into something else. Not taking that large of a hit again.

That would work but when I've looked at that all that stuff seems shady. Maybe it's not. Too late for next 12 months anyway.
