We have a family scrap book that is fairly extensive and long. Lots of articles and newspaper clippings. It's currently in 2 old school binders.

I want to make copies of everything both electronic and an extra paper copy.

Are their places other than legacy box where I could either do this myself or someone locally that does this service? Located in Houston if there is local places

The Epson FastFoto line does a really great job. The FF-680W is kind of the favorite right now.

I do some photography and the Epsons are the favorites of at least the the hobbyist photographers I know. I am looking at that model right now. I scanned old photos many, many, years ago and they are all lower quality jpegs. Not really good enough to print but that was almost 30 years ago.

A friend with the same Epson scanned an old photo for me recently and it was amazing, even did some color correction automatically. He says for about 99.99% of the photos - scan them at 600 dpi and make sure the file is a TIFF - no jpegs
