I am trying to watch movie on my streaming service and it keeps buffering to the point the movie is unwatchable. Live tv on the same service works just fine. VPN is installed and still nothing. Any ideas?

Starlink doesn't throttle video as far as I've ever heard. Try turning off the VPN. What service is buffering?

That's what they claim but I can watch videos/live tv on my phone (wifi off) just fine. As soon as I get on the wifi, buffering like none other. Same goes for the tv via firestick.

What's your WiFi setup?

I'm on Starlink and never have had issues like that.

Every other app works fine on any device in the house. The speeds for every other app are fine no matter tue device. Its just my specific app that I use for live tv and movies. Live tv works fine. I originally thought that everything points to the app but movies work juat fine as soon as I get off Starlink. Its like they are only throttling this specific app and only a portion of it. Maybe I am completely missing something.

have you looked at your ping success on the starlink app? if it isn't 100%, it could cause live streaming issues, that might not be noticeable on other things. I have that issue with my mini if my alignment isn't good or i have any kind of obstacles around.
