Anyone have any recommendations for games I can play co-op on a PS5 (or Switch 2 I guess) with my son? We're playing a lot of Alienation, which is super fun but we've about worn it out and done everything there is to do. Anything similar? Looking for something that is easy to pickup and good for quick sessions, nothing with heavy RPG elements or require a ton of problem solving. We tried Ascent, but it hasn't really clicked (although we may give it another go). Being available on PS Plus would be a bonus.

Would consider co-op through PC/Steam as well, 1st person I guess works for that.

Haven't played it but there's a TMNT Hades kind of game called Splintered Fate
Any old school beat-em-up like Marvel Cosmic Invasion

It Takes Two is a fantastic game, though the "story" is more for couples than parent/kid. We skip most of the cutscenes but the gameplay itself I can't recommend enougb. It has a little bit of everything and I have enjoyed playing it with my kid. The mini games are fun as well and scattered throughout.

The other game we played and had a lot of fun with was Unravel Two.

Heard good things about Split Fiction

I forgot that almost all Lego games make great couch co-op games.
